Providing care for cancer patients and helping them through the journey is a passion of mine, definitely not just a job. I believe in personalized care and strive to find the right treatment for each patient. I have been blessed to have a comprehensive educational foundation, with focus on pushing the envelope toward finding curative options, while maintaining quality of life and providing supportive/palliative care; all with a strong backbone of knowledge/continuing medical education. I have an upbeat attitude and love patient interactions and endeavor to make a positive difference every day.
Dr. Ramasubbaiah is an experienced board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist offering comprehensive cancer care in the community for all cancers and blood disorders. She has a special interest in breast oncology, head and neck cancers, and gastrointestinal cancers including biliary tract, pancreatic, and colorectal cancers. She has had both academic and community practice experience and bridges the extensive ongoing knowledge and excellent training of academia with practical, personalized, and compassionate care in the community.
Dr. Ramasubbaiah is excited to have the opportunity to provide clinical trials for research in the community via the UCDH affiliation with the Marshall Cancer Center. She has extensive experience with research, both clinical and translational/bench research, from prior academic positions.
