I am a big believer in shared decision making; it is my role to provide patients with the best possible information about their condition and diagnostic and treatment options, and work collaboratively with them to develop the plan of care that best aligns with their values.
I am extraordinarily proud to be a part of this amazing organization, which focuses on not just delivering the very best care, but on advancing medicine through its research and education missions.
Dr. Murin is a pulmonary critical care physician whose current clinical practice is restricted to the consultative care of hospitalized patients.
Dr. Murin's research has focused upon the epidemiology of venous thromboembolism and the effects of smoking upon the lungs.
