Philosophy of Care

Dr. Aribindi believes in integrating quality of life and great medical care. She is committed to personalized medicine and education to ensure patients understand the why and how, in order to help patients take ownership of their health. With the help of an extraordinary multidisciplinary and highly integrated team, she will prioritize integrating disease management in the context of patients' lives. When not working, Dr. Aribindi can be found hiking (or in respiratory distress from hiking) as she pursues her hobbies of landscape photography or scuba diving.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Aribindi is a pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine physician who practices all three disciplines. Her clinical interests are in the overlap between upper and lower airway disease, along with pulmonary-sleep overlap syndromes. She is part of the UCAN network and sees patients with advanced asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Aribindi investigates the pulmonary-sleep overap conditions, including asthma-OSA, and interstitial lung disease-OSA in order to find the best multi-pronged treatment approaches to complex syndromes. She utilizes breath diagnostics and volatile organic compound emissions, with a background in mass spectrometry, to illuminate disease pathophysiology.
