Dr. Savenka believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing their concerns. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while working to reduce healthcare disparities and improve access to quality care for all patients.
Dr. Savenka cares for adults with a wide range of infectious diseases in both the hospital and clinic. Her clinical interests include bacterial infections, sexually transmitted infections, and infectious acquired from the environment, including fungal and zoonotic infections. She is also passionate about antimicrobial stewardship, helping ensure antibiotics and diagnostic tests are used appropriately to provide safe and effective care.
Dr. Savenka's academic interests include infections in immunocompromised populations, mycology, and diagnostic stewardship.
