Liver Disease | UC Davis Health
The hepatology team at UC Davis Health are known for their outstanding commitment to patient care and research in acute and chronic liver diseases. We are currently involved in a number of clinical and basic science research studies that allow us to offer the most advanced treatments for patients with liver diseases. We have specific interests in hepatitis C and B, primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, non-alcoholic and alcoholic fatty liver disease, and have a multi-disciplinary approach to our treatment and management of liver cancer. In addition, we provide follow-up care for patients who have had a liver transplant at UC Davis.
Liver Day is an annual event sponsored by our division. This annual event promotes research and fosters collaboration across the UC Davis campus through an interdisciplinary symposium on a selected topic of liver disease. Click here to learn more about this year's event.
