One of the largest clinics at UC Davis is the Internal Medicine & Specialty Clinic which offers General Medicine, Allergy and Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Geriatric, Infectious and Immunologic Diseases specialty care to a diverse patient population.  The team of 40 faculty physicians, 106 residents and fellows, 3 dietitians, 6 medical assistants, 3 licensed vocational nurses and 9 registered nurses are dedicated to providing advanced practice, comprehensive and compassionate care. Located in the Lawrence Ellison Ambulatory Care Building, the Internal Medicine Clinic sees over 2,500 patients and handles over 10,000 patient calls on a monthly basis.

The Division of Endocrinology offers a number of specialty clinics with focuses on Diabetes, Thyroid, and Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), in addition to a General Endocrinology clinic. Our team of nine physicians mainly provide specialty care at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) in Sacramento, in addition to the following Primary Care Networks located throughout the Northern California region including Elk Grove, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Rocklin, and Roseville.

The Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics, and Bioethics offers a number of specialty clinics with focuses on Musculoskeletal, Sports Medicine, Geriatric patient management, in addition to a General Medicine clinic. Our team of thirty physicians mainly provide specialty care at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) in Sacramento, with the goal of educating and training the next generation of physicians.

The Division of Infectious Diseases offers a number of specialty clinics with focuses on Hepatitis C, and Travel, in addition to a General Infectious Diseases clinic. Our team of six physicians provide specialty care at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) in Sacramento, in addition to providing HIV/AIDS treatment at the CARES Community Health clinic located at 1500 21st Street, Sacramento, CA.

The Division of Nephrology offers a number of Renal specialty clinics with focuses on hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, glomerulonephritis, electrolyte disorders, pregnancy related kidney disease, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), hemodialysis, home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Out team of seven (7) physicians mainly provide renal specialty care at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) in Sacramento, in addition to Primary Care Networks (PCN) in Elk Grove, Folsom, and Rocklin. Our nephrologists also see over 450 long-term dialysis patients at several dialysis clinics located in the Northern California Region: Dialysis Clinic , Inc. (DCI), Davita, Renal Advantage, Inc (RAI), Fresenius-Wellbound-Satellite.

The Division of Rheumatology/Allergy & Immunology offers a number of specialty clinics with focuses on Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sarcoidosis, Vasculitis and Inflammatory Arthritis in addition to a General Rheumatology clinic. Our team of seven physicians mainly provide specialty care at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACC) in Sacramento.
