To outline the processes for reporting sexual harassment allegations

POLICY
- Everyone at UC Davis, including students, faculty, staff and administrators has the right to a safe learning and working environment.
- Sexual harassment and sexual violence are prohibited both by law and University policy. It is the responsibility of UC Davis to prevent, to correct, and when necessary, to discipline behavior that violates this policy on Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence. Both University policy and the law prohibit retaliation against any individual who opposes sexual harassment, files a complaint, or assists or participates in any manner in an investigation or proceeding conducted by the University or an external agency.

PROCEDURE
Reports must be made through UC Davis’ Complaints of Discrimination or Harassment which provides procedures for academic appointees, staff and students to report allegations of discrimination or harassment, and procedures for responding to those reports. Allegations of sexual harassment may also be reported through the Learning Climate Committee (LCC) using the Mistreatment Incident Report.
