About Mike: My background is in psychopharmacology, psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), clinical trial design, and drug IP. Formative experiences living among the neglected (servicemembers, those with substance use disorders, BIPOC) exposed me to profound failures in the medical apparatus too egregious to ignore. I believe increasing skepticism towards doctors is warranted and I strive to subvert the sanctimonious culture of medicine through humility and openness to alternative forms of healing.

Research Interests: My primary interest is improving psychiatric practice. Leading basic, computational, epidemiological, RCT, and humanistic projects inspire me to challenge siloed approaches to healing the mind. I believe, in the tradition of Paul Feyerabend, that having a broad reaching and anarchic epistemic praxis can yield superior solutions in biomedical research.
