Philosophy of Care

My approach is to practice patient-centered care. Patient-centered care means that an individual’s health needs and desired outcomes are the basis upon which health care decisions are made. Open communication between my patients and me is important so that I understand their goals and priorities. I believe in shared decision making which means that my patients and I make treatment decisions together; I ensure that they understand the treatment plan.
