Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
Many LGBT cancer patients and survivors do not feel welcome or understood in mainstream support groups and transgender survivors have been especially excluded. There are a few LGBT cancer support resources across the country; however, for people who live further from major metropolitan areas, they are hard pressed to find one at all.
Below are resources and some national organizations that have an on-line community and may be able to help link you to a group or organization close to your home:
