UC Davis Health received prestigious HIMSS Stage 6 data analytics designation

UC Davis Health recently achieved the prestigious Stage 6 Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity (AMAM) from HIMSS.  UC Davis Health is now one of five health care systems in the United States - and only six worldwide - currently at HIMSS AMAM Stage 6.  Only 10 health care systems in the US have achieved Stage 7, which is the highest level of analytics maturity.

“This achievement is the culmination of nearly three years of hard work by our IT experts, including physicians who assured the clinical data we enter is accurate, complete and consistently defined,” said David Lubarsky, CEO of UC Davis Health and Vice Chancellor for Human Health Sciences.  “Analyzing what we do, and managing how well we are performing in real time, furthers our patient care, education, research, and health care equity missions. Being the #1 hospital in the region is great. Staying there requires constant improvement. That starts with the ability to evaluate whether high quality, equitable, efficient patient care is being delivered in every single patient encounter."  Read the full article here.
