Dr. Boxer provides comprehensive care to older adults. Dr. Boxer is commited to listening to her patients and helping them to make decisions around their goals of care.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Boxer is a geriatrician caring for older adults with multiple chronic conditions, functional decline, dementia and frailty. Dr. Boxer has expertise in cardiovascular disease, particularly heart failure in the the oldest old.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Boxer has broad research interests including heart failure disease managment, nursing home care, systems of care for older adults, polypharmacy, and social determinants of health. Dr. Boxer primarily conducts pragmatic clinical trials and often collaborates with investigators in other specialties and disciplines.
