As a clinician, I believe that every individual, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, deserves compassionate, dignified, and culturally respectful care. My approach is rooted in a deep commitment to health equity.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Marrón is an internal medicine physician with a subspecialty in geriatrics. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to older adults, focusing on managing complex medical conditions often associated with aging, such as multiple chronic diseases, frailty, cognitive disorders, and functional decline.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Marrón’s clinical interests include health equity, geriatric syndromes, cognitive health, end-of-life care, and caregiver support, with a particular focus on addressing the needs of Latino and other underserved communities. She remains actively involved in medical education and is also interested in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery for aging populations, especially those facing disparities in access and outcomes.
