Personal and Professional Interests:
I spend as much of my free time as I can with my family, because they are my foundation and have seen me through all of my career milestones. I enjoy spin bike sessions, scootering with my young son outside, reading, watching foreign subtitled dramas and going on adventures. Enduring the COVID pandemic left me with a profound appreciation of feeling the air on my face and seeing the sun outside! Professionally, I am interested in academic medicine (outpatient and inpatient), how policy impacts health, and tribal health, as I was born and raised on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona.
