Notice of Availability of the UC Davis Campus Security Report and Fire Safety Report

Students are entitled to request and receive a copy of the Security Report and the Fire Safety Report for the University of California, Davis campus prepared in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 and the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.

The security report includes statistics for the past three years concerning crimes and incidents reported to campus security authorities for crimes occurring on campus, in off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or registered student organizations, or on public property adjacent to campus or the Medical Center.

The report also provides campus policies and practices concerning security, including how to report sexual assault and other crimes, crime prevention efforts, emergency notification, response, and evacuation procedures; missing student policy/procedures; policies/laws governing alcohol and drugs; available victims' assistance programs; the student discipline process; campus resources and other matters.

The fire safety report contains information regarding fire safety policies, fire safety systems and fire drills in residential facilities as well as statistics regarding the incidence of fire in residential facilities over the past three years.
