- Vista, has also received the Ajay Sampat, M.D. Neurology Scholars Award for Medical Students. This prestigious recognition by the NMQF, the nation's largest minority healthcare research, education, and advocacy organization, underscores Ijeoma's passion and dedication to amplifying community voices to reduce perinatal health disparities and to improve outcomes for BIPOC communities while innovatively leveraging technology and digital health solutions. Additionally, Ijeoma and her team were awarded the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Telehealth Equity Catalyst Award for their proposal, “Reducing Postpartum Disparities for Black Birthing People through Telehealth.”
