Dr. Liang believes in shared decision-making with the family. She keeps up-to-date with the most recent medical information and practices evidence based medicine. She usually takes a conservative approach before recommending medications or studies, and will explain the risks/benefits/alternate options so the family can feel confident about the care plan.
Dr. Liang is a general pediatric neurologist offering care for children with various neurologic conditions such as epilepsy (seizures), developmental delay, headache, concussion, neuromuscular disorders, and genetic conditions. She has a special clinical interest in neonatal neurology. Dr. Liang sees children as an inpatient in the hospital, as well as outpatient in the clinic.
Dr. Liang enjoys being involved in medical education-teaching medical students and trainees in Pediatrics and Neurology. She works on quality improvement and updating protocols to optimize the care of our patients. Dr. Liang also engages in teleneurology.
