Philosophy of Care

I believe that health care is a human right. As such, I strive to provide compassionate care to my patients, serving as their guide as they navigate their neurologic condition. I also believe that quality care focuses on the person as a whole and so I encourage my patients to live healthy physical, emotional, and spiritual lives.

I believe that the best way that I can help my patients is to identify, to the best of my ability, the cause of their ailment. I do so by taking a detailed history, performing a neurologic exam that focuses on the areas that help narrow the differential diagnosis, and the order/review understand their symptoms, test results, and risks/benefits of the medications that we prescribe.
