Philosophy of Care

My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized care for patients. I understand the importance of communication, shared-decision making, and teamwork in accomplishing that goal. I strive to provide the most advanced and appropriate care in order to deliver the best possible outcome for each patient.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Li is a fellowship trained head and neck surgeon who provides care for all benign and malignant head and neck tumors. This includes those arising from the skin, mouth, sinuses, throat, neck, and endocrine or salivary glands. He has specialized training and interest in complex resection, microvascular reconstruction, and transoral robotic surgery.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Li's clinical and translational research interests focus on improving care for head and neck cancer patients. His research goals include optimizing treatment for patients with tonsil and base of tongue cancer, the use of 3D-printing in surgery, and improving outcomes in microvascular reconstruction.
