Simulation and Health Professions Education The UC Davis Health Department of Emergency Medicine offers a combined fellowship in simulation and health professions education. The fellowship is intended to provide learners with a solid foundation in healthcare simulation, education scholarship, curriculum design, excellence and innovation in teaching, and membership in the greater community of medical educators.

Candidate requirements and eligibility

We offer two fellowship positions each year to graduates of Emergency Medicine residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). One- and two-year fellowship tracks are available, with the opportunity to obtain masters-level research training in the two-year track. Interested applicants should send a current curriculum vitae, a letter of intent, and three letters of recommendation (including one from the applicant’s residency Program Director if still in training) to our fellowship program directors.
