Dr. Jimenez is committed to delivering patient-centered, high quality cardiovascular care to all patients. She values the unique aspects of each patient and strives to adapt care to meet the particular needs of each patient and their families.
Dr. Jimenez is a board certified cardiologist and transplant/advanced heart failure cardiologist who received her medical degree from Stanford University. She completed both internship and residency at Stanford University. She completed her cardiology and advanced heart failure/heart transplantation fellowship at Stanford University. Her main clinical interests include heart failure, social determinants of health and their effect on cardiovascular health, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation.
Dr. Jimenez focuses on clinical research to advance the care of heart failure patients. These projects include clinical trials to improve the care of valvular heart disease as well as pragmatic studies to improve access to care for undeserved patients.
