Clinical Interests

Dr. Datta Mitra is a hematopathologist and GI/Liver pathologist. She mainly focuses on interpretation of  non-neoplastic and neoplastic hematopathology in bone marrow and lymph node specimens. She has special clinical interest and expertise in Gastro-intestinal Pathology and Liver diseases as well.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Datta Mitra is an internationally renowned researcher conducting original research to better understand the pathogenesis of human autoimmune diseases and hematologic disorders, and validate new therapies for these diseases.
