Dr. Cameron Gaskill, MD MPH believes in a compassionate and personalized approach to cancer care. He provides data-driven and innovative treatments through a multi-disciplinary team, to achieve the highest quality of cancer care for his patients and their families.
Dr. Gaskill is fellowship trained and board-certified in complex general surgical oncology. He specializes in the treatment of patients with cancers of the liver, bile duct, pancreas, stomach and skin. He has a special clinical interest and expertise in complex surgical care, surgical innovation, and robotic techniques. Dr. Gaskill is passionate about public health and increasing access to cancer care both locally and abroad.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gaskill enjoys sailing and skiing with his wife and daughters.
Dr. Gaskill's research focus is on improving the quality of surgical and cancer care globally. He has extensive experience in global and public health, building programs to increase capacity in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers through cancer registries, training programs, and international advocacy.
He is the Director of the UC Davis Center for Global Surgery. His mission is to improve and promote collaboration and innovation in providing care to surgery patients in under-resourced environments.
