  • Autologous, allogeneic related and allogeneic unrelated transplants using peripheral blood stem cells, bone marrow and cord blood 
  • Myeloablative  and non-myeloablative (reduced intensity) treatment plans
  • Donor lymphocyte infusions
  • Phototherapy procedures to treat chronic graft-versus-host disease
  • Treatment provided by a collaborative team of stem cell transplant physicians, nurse practitioners and registered oncology nurses
  • Care coordination by highly specialized transplant nurse coordinators
  • Access to clinical trials
  • Pharmacy, social work, nutrition and other patient support services
  • Help with arranging temporary housing near the medical center for patient families

Our Accreditations

  • The UC Davis Stem Cell Transplant Program is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), which certifies that our program continuously meets or exceeds international standards for stem cell collections, processing and complete patient care from initial evaluation through return to the referring oncologist.
  • Our program is designated as a National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Transplant Center and meets NMDP’s stringent annual requirements for the performance of unrelated donor transplants.
  • The program also participates in National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials and is designated as a Center of Excellence by most health-care insurers.
