Rural ACE-PCP and ACE-PC Admissions
Application Process and Progression
- Applicants must apply to UC Davis School of Medicine through the AMCAS by October 1.
- Applicants invited to complete the UC Davis School of Medicine Secondary Application indicate their interest in the Accelerated Competency-based Education in Primary Care (ACE-PC) or the Rural Accelerated Competency-based Education in Primary Care and Psychiatry (Rural ACE-PCP).
- Following the traditional holistic review and multiple mini-interview process, applicants who indicated interest in the accelerated pathways will be reviewed by Program Directors to assess fit, commitment to primary care, and academic readiness.
- Qualified applicants will be invited to interview with ACE-PC or Rural ACE-PCP program team members between January and April. Applicants will be interviewed simultaneously by leadership from the three-year medical degree pathway and the partner residency programs.
