Personal and Professional Interests:
Professionally, I love the clinical practice of general internal medicine -- developing relationships with patients, thinking deeply about their values and their medical concerns, and working with them to achieve their health goals. I find medicine to be enormously fascinating, and thinking about complex clinical challenges and then working with interdisciplinary teams to arrive at a diagnosis and management plans is thrilling. I most enjoy working in primary care in the urban safety net, in particular with people experiencing homelessness, elders, and patients with substance use disorders.
