Working with children, adolescents, and parents is a unique opportunity to provide families with support during an important time in life. Using a collaborative and empathic approach, I work hard alongside my clients to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. It's important to meet each person where they are at and help them meet their unique goals.
Dr. Elizabeth Loyola is a child clinical psychologist and assistant professor at the UC Davis Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she also completed her postdoctoral training. Dr. Loyola currently provides a range of psychological services, including individual, group, and family therapy and psychological assessment to youth ages 0-21 and their families at the Sacramento County Children's Mental Health Clinic. In addition, Dr. Loyola is involved in leading Social Skills groups at the UC Davis MIND Institute. Dr. Loyola's clinical and research interests focus on complex trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and psychological assessment. She also has an interest in teaching, supervision, and training future psychologists and psychiatrists.
