Philosophy of Care
I am committed to the overall welfare of my patients by optimizing their vision care. My office will endeavor to provide the highest level of advanced medical and surgical care for diseases of the cornea and external eye to ensure the best possible visual function.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Mannis is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of external eye disease and diseases of the cornea. He specializes in medical and surgical management of these problems including the choice of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapy, corneal transplantation for all forms of corneal disease, keratoprosthesis (artificial cornea).
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Mannis has devoted his research career to finding better ways to manage infection and immunologically mediated diseases of the eye. In addition, he has focused his research on method and outcomes of corneal transplantation.
