Dr. Haener is passionate about serving children and adolescents, especially those with neurodevelopmental disorders. She aims to provide high-quality assessments and evidenced based intervention to help families better understand and support their children.
Danielle Haener, Psy.D, is a clinical psychologist offering care for children, adolescents and young adults with various neurodevelopmetnal disorders. Her clinical work focuses on assessing and diagnosing developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other mental health conditions in order to guide families and children towards appropriate and evidence based interventions. Dr. Haener also has a special clinical interest in the social development of children and adolescents with autism, she is the clinical director of the MIND institute social skills program. Dr. Haener is committed to the training of future clinicians with expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, and is an integral part of the MIND institute's clinical psychology training program.
Dr. Haener is a member of the MIND institute clinical research team. She provides support to several MIND research studies seeking to build the existing knowledge of early autism risk factors and development of autism related symptoms across a lifespan. She also has a special interest in the identification and treatment of anxiety in individuals with autism.
