Apra Sood, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Sood, Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology is a board-certified medical dermatologist. She sees patients at the Sacramento VA medical center where she is the on-site director of the dermatology residency program and is strongly committed to resident education. Her interests include complex medical dermatology with a special focus on contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis and other eczematous dermatoses. Dr. Sood did her dermatology residency and contact dermatitis fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, and was the director of the contact dermatitis section in the Cleveland Clinic department of dermatology prior to moving to California. She has co-authored chapters in dermatology textbooks and has published in several journals.
