Peggy WuPhilosophy of Care

In my career to date I have sought to promote clinical excellence by providing informed, multifaceted clinical care and pursuing research driven by clinical need. My philosophy towards providing my best compassionate care is to form a partnership with the patient. I leverage my insights, knowledge, experience, and connections within the academic community to work together with the patient and figure out what is right for them.

Clinical Interest

Dr. Wu is a medical dermatologist with particular clinical and research interests in medical education, allergic contact dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, and complex medical dermatology. She is the founder and director of the patch test clinic.

 

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Wu's research interests include establishing clinically significant outcome metrics for patients with dermatitis undergoing patch testing. She also has an interest in the epidemiology of non-melanoma skin cancer, effectiveness of interventions for cutaneous T cell lymphoma, and medical education.
