Dr. Hedayati works closely with her patients to establish a foundation of trust and understanding, and optimizes their cardiovascular risk factors and encourages preventative care. She thoroughly discusses non-surgical and surgical options with patients and families so informed decisions are made as a team.
Dr. Hedayati's practice is focused on all aspects of vascular disease including treatment of venous disease and varicose veins, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot wounds, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and carotid artery disease. She uses the latest office-based non-invasive technologies to treat varicose veins and the latest endovascular as well as open surgical techniques for treatment of peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, and abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Dr. Hedayati's research has focused on outcomes of minimally invasive endovascular peripheral arterial interventions compared to open bypass operations, treatment of patients with arterial and venous insufficiency. She is also interested in exploring outcomes of stem cell therapy for patients with advanced peripheral arterial disease. She has lectured nationally and internationally on her topics of research focus. She is involved in many academic societies and committees.
