As a mother and surgical patient myself, I understand what it feels like to have a child who needs surgical care. Having other parents trust me with their children is a humbling responsibility so I take care of my patients as if they were my own child. I approach the care of my patients with a family-centered philosophy that is safe, honest, inclusive, clear, compassionate.
