Having been a patient before and on the other side of medicine, one of the things I've strived to do after becoming a physician is understanding the patient as a whole, and his/her experience through their journey. I enjoy building the physician-family relationship and believe it is an integral part of the process in understanding and treating the disease. There is nothing more rewarding then empowering the patient, and helping them embark on the path of healing.
Dr. Batchu is a pediatric gastroenterologist offering care for children with various gastroenterological diseaes such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and constipation. She has a special interest in hepatological diseases including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
