UC Davis Health Radiology Scheduling and Billing

Most outpatient examinations and procedures are scheduled Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with some evening and weekend options available.

Please ask our radiology scheduling agent about all scheduling options.

Please note that a written request from your physician is required for all radiology procedures.

When making your appointment, please tell the scheduler if you have any allergies or if you had an allergic reaction during a previous CT or MR procedure. Also tell the scheduler if you have any special needs, such as assistance with language.

When you come for your exam, please be sure to bring a list of all your current medications, your insurance card and some identification that has your picture on it. If your physician gave you a written request for the procedure, bring that request form with you as well.

Your doctor may want you to receive an X-Ray exam as part of your office visit. You may be asked to go to Ambulatory Care Center or Main Hospital Radiology during or just after your office visit. You do not need an appointment at these locations.

Outpatient X-Ray imaging is performed at the following locations:

UC Davis Spine Center, Midtown Ambulatory Care Center, Placer Center for Health, UC Davis Health Point West Clinic, UC Davis Medical Group Roseville, UC Davis Medical Group Carmichael/Citrus Heights, UC Davis Medical Group Davis, UC Davis Medical Group Folsom, UC Davis Medical Group Auburn/Grass Valley and UC Davis Medical Group Elk Grove.

Walk-in hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Hours vary by location)

Please note that only X-Ray exams can be done on walk-in basis. MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and other radiology exams can only be accommodated through scheduling department.
