Pediatric Radiology
Our Pediatric Radiology division provides subspecialized expertise in diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures for neonatal, infant, childhood, and adolescent disorders. Imaging modalities include Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). We utilize our diagnostic expertise, while emphasizing the special needs of our patients. Our imaging and procedures are performed in a child-friendly (and parent-friendly) environment by caring personnel. Experienced physicians, technologists, child-life specialists, and nurses aid with the imaging studies and procedures. In addition, the specialized personnel provide pediatric sedation as necessary. We employ the principles of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) to reduce radiation dose whenever and wherever possible for our pediatric patients.
We are committed to providing exemplary care for every child with compassion and utilization of evidence-based medicine and cutting-edge techniques.
