I always aim to understand and meet the needs of every patient, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional, patient centered care. My approach involves paying the utmost attention to the details in every step of the imaging process, carefully examining each case, and using my special skills to add more value to our service. I am dedicated to continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest advancements in science and technology to offer the highest quality imaging for each patient. In simple terms, I treat every patient with the same care and attention I would give to my own family.
Dr. Diaz is a pediatric radiologist with subspecialty training in pediatric cardiac imaging. Over the course of his training and during his time as a practicing clinical radiologist, he has interpreted tens of thousands of pediatric imaging exams. He has also overseen several thousand pediatric cardiac, CT and MRI, exams in patients of varying ages covering a broad spectrum of congenital heart disease. Dr. Diaz has been invited multiple times to lecture at national conferences with topics focused on advanced radiological imaging of the heart. During his time as a clinician, he has also served as a professor, clinical consult, and supervisor providing education to residents, clinical staff, and technologists on congenital heart imaging and various other pediatric imaging exams.
Dr. Diaz has a strong academic focus in doing research involving medical imaging processes and systems, particularly focusing on the technical aspects of imaging such as how to set up scans and make them more consistent, learning new ways to acquire images, and how to use computer technology to help us get the best images. His goal is to translate his research into improved diagnostics for pediatric and cardiac imaging applications.
