Relocation of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center from the Ambulatory Care Center, on the hospital campus, to the Alhambra Cannery. This project expanded services for the function and developed a co-located office and patient research function. The developed space includes five exam rooms and five testing rooms, 10 private offices, 30 workstations, a break room, a conference room and an outdoor terrace. This project also included the development of a grant research area with an additional three offices, five testing rooms and a conference room. The project also includes a physical testing space for evaluating mobility and motor function and an additional 32 workstations for staff. The project was designed to be welcoming with high-end finishes and relaxing color palettes to promote focus and relaxation for the testing subjects.
