Consultants

UC Davis Health is required to publicly advertise Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) – a competitive selection process – for all consulting contracts with fees anticipated to be over $100,000. Click on the RFQs link below to see our current opportunities. We also advertise our RFQs on the State Contracts Register and on applicable professional associations websites.

If the consulting contract sum is estimated to be below $100,000, the University is allowed to award the project directly to firms who respond to the Annual Announcement for Covered Services by completing a Consultant Profile Form. If the firm is deemed qualified, it is added to the applicant pool. If your firm is SBE or DVBE, please complete the Confirmation of Certification form (and include your certification) to be considered for the Sheltered Applicant Pool.

Sheltered SBE/DVBE Applicant Pool

Sheltered SBE/DVBE Applicant Pool is a new University of California program where a portion of contracts under $100,000 are designated, before solicitation of qualifications or proposals, for submission from Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and/or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE). The goal of sheltered selection is to provide greater opportunities for such business enterprises in UC capital programs.

UC Davis Health will set aside contracts on which they will utilize a Sheltered Applicant Pool on professional consulting contracts for the Facilities Planning and Development Division. SBE and DVBE Consultants can qualify to be part of the Sheltered Applicant pool by replying to the Annual Announcement and submitting a Consultant Profile Form with an attached certification acceptable by the University.
