What began as a simple request for repainting hallways and corridors within Davis Tower 5 (NICU), Davis Tower 7 (PEDICU) and University Tower 6 (Pediatric) evolved into a comprehensive refresh project that exceeded expectations. Our partnership with Pediatric Leadership resulted in a refreshed pediatric color palette inspired by the Children’s Surgery Center, and it also provided an opportunity to create unique wall paint patterns in the corridors and playrooms of Davis and University Towers.
In Davis Tower 7, our efforts extended beyond mere repainting. The project enabled the artwork in the corridors to align with current design guidelines and facilitated the creation of a new artwork program for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), enhancing the space and creating a comforting atmosphere for patients and their families.
Finally, partnering with Shaw Contract Flooring marked a significant milestone, as UC Davis Health became a test pilot location for their cutting-edge healthcare flooring. This partnership not only highlights our commitment to innovation but also positions us at the forefront of creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing healthcare spaces. The nationwide launch of this new flooring by the end of 2024 underscores our dedication to setting industry standards and enhancing the patient experience.
