Arrival and Check-In

When you enter the lobby, you will be directed to either:

• Check-in on the first floor and be directed to the second floor, or
• Head directly to another floor for check-in, depending on the pre-arrival instructions from the surgeon’s office.

Guest Services personnel can help direct you. You will need to be able to get yourself from a vehicle into the proper clinic location.

Procedure Steps

Once you’re checked in, you will:

• Undergo pre-procedure preparation
• Be taken to an operating room for your procedure
• Be taken to a recovery room after the procedure

Discharge Process

When you’re released, you will be taken by wheelchair to the ground floor. You can be picked up on X Street, directly in front of the building.

If you require observation overnight, an extended recovery unit is located on the first floor.

Parking Options

Patient and visitor parking is on the first floor of Parking Structure 4 at 48th and X streets. You can also park in the Ambulatory Care Center parking structure at 4879 Y St., but it is a longer walk to the 48X Complex.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Patients can be dropped off directly in front of the building on X Street. Once the patient’s procedure is complete, they will be brought out by wheelchair and can be picked up in the same location.
