Dr. Wiegley is interested in providing high quality care to adults with kidney disease, with special focus on inflammatory kidney conditions (glomerular diseases), cancer-related kidney diseases (onconephrology), critical care nephrology in the hospital and management of individuals with chronic kidney disease in the ambulatory setting. These include chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, electrolyte imbalance, hypertension, as well as long-term kidney replacement therapy such as hemodialysis. In addition, Dr. Wiegley is interested in medical education and clinical training of medical students, residents and fellows, currently serving as the Nephrology Fellowship Program Director.
Dr. Wiegley's clinical and research interests include glomerular diseases and offers clinical trials in lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy and FSGS.
