Philosophy of Care

My goal is to provide the care and advice that I would want for myself or my family. I pride myself on considering all options for the treatment of any condition, not just those that are surgical.

I also pride myself on listening to patients and their families. Having any medical problem is difficult, navigating health care should not add to that problem. I also try always to be available for questions as oftentimes they arise between visits.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Colquhoun is a surgeon specializing in cancer of the liver, liver, biliary and pancreatic surgery. He completed fellowship training in both transplantation and surgical oncology at UCLA. He is board certified in both surgery and critical care.
