Dr. Fleming has clinical interests in the care of patients with complex diseases undergoing cardiovascular or thoracic surgical procedures. He is board certified in Advanced Peri-operative Transesophageal Echocardiography. He is interested the the use of advanced physiologic monitoring to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Fleming's research interests include neuromuscular physiology and pharmacology and clinical physiologic monitoring. This includes the development of advanced monitoring of new physiologic parameters that could improve patient safety and peri-operative outcomes.
