Philosophy of Care

My goal is to provide every woman with the most meticulous and compassionate care possible in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Shakeri is a fellowship trained radiologist specializing in breast imaging including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, breast computed tomography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging.

She practices and offers imaging guided care for all aspects of breast conditions and routinely performs breast biopsies using ultrasound guidance, MRI localization, and stereotactic triangulation techniques. She emphasizes individualized screening and supplemental screening care plans for maintaining breast health.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Shakeri's research interests have focused on advancing imaging of suspicious breast lesions by dedicated breast computed tomography (bCT), a novel three-dimensional (3-D) imaging modality developed at UC Davis by Dr. John Boone in the Department of Radiology.
