California Tobacco Prevention Program

UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center's Office of Population Health provides staff services support for the California Tobacco Prevention Program at the California Department of Public Health.  To change tobacco-related social norms, the California Tobacco Prevention Program funds a statewide media campaign, state and community interventions, and policy solutions that focus on reducing the health toll caused by tobacco.

    Patty serves as the program manager for the California Department of Public Health Tobacco Control Program. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, program administration, fiscal and business management, human resources, and contract negotiations. As the program ambassador, she is responsible for building and managing external and stakeholder relationships.
