The Orthopaedics Program at UC Davis Health is a collaborative team of specialists. We are dedicated to helping you maintain a healthy, active lifestyle at every stage of life.
Our surgeons are board-certified and fellowship trained in their areas of expertise. They use the most advanced technology to diagnose and treat the full range of orthopaedic conditions.
Our APPs work side-by-side with our orthopaedic surgeons. They include board-certified nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs). NPs and PAs perform medical exams, recommend diagnostic tests, provide treatments and prescribe medications.

Our Foot and Ankle Clinic focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders and injuries that affect your feet and ankles. Our surgeons are fellowship trained in both foot and ankle and sports medicine. They offer surgical and nonsurgical treatment options to help reduce pain and improve your range of motion.
Our Adult Reconstruction Service focuses on treating injuries and conditions that affect your hips and knees. Our unique joint preservation program includes procedures aimed at preventing or delaying joint replacement. We also perform partial or total joint replacement (arthroplasty) when necessary.
Our hand, shoulder and elbow surgery team is the region’s largest and most experienced. With over 80 years of combined expertise, we provide the highest level of care for upper-extremity conditions and injuries.
Our team of sarcoma specialists offers testing, diagnosis and care for cancerous and noncancerous bone and soft tissue tumors. Our primary focus is on preventing limb loss in cases of malignant tumors.
Our pediatric orthopaedics team treats musculoskeletal conditions and injuries in children. In conjunction with Shriners Children’s Northern California, our team has earned national recognition for excellent pediatric care.
Our Spine Center specialists use the latest technology and surgical techniques to perform state-of-the-art spinal procedures for adults and children. Our surgeons treat a variety of conditions including spinal trauma, scoliosis, tumors and infections.
The UC Davis Sports Medicine Program offers specialized care for athletes of all levels, from recreational to professional. Our goal is to help you regain your range of motion and activity level.
Our Orthopaedic Trauma Service is a level 1 trauma center. This means we offer complete care for orthopaedic conditions and injuries, including prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. We also provide critical care services for people in Northern California, Eastern Nevada and Southern Oregon.
