Philosophy of Care

It is a privilege and honor to care for our patients and their families during their most trying times, such as after serious injury or critical illness. I aspire to provide excellence in medical and surgical care, thorough communication, and steadfast support for my patients and their families during their journey to healing.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Robles is a general surgeon who specializes in trauma surgery, acute care surgery, and critical care of surgical patients. She has a particular interest in improving clinical outcomes in the surgical intensive care unit and investigating the role of inflammation and coagulopathy after critical illness and injury.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Robles' academic interests are broad, including clinical outcomes and quality improvement in surgical critical care and the role of coagulation and inflammation after critical illness and injury. Dr. Robles is also interested in the complex interplay between social determinants of health, injury, and illness.
