I believe that each person deserves to receive excellent health care. Many of the conditions I treat are complex and require coordinated care by a dedicated team of experts. Engaging each patient as an individual and taking the time to listen and explain the treatment plan creates a relationship based on trust that is crucial to success. Clinical Interests

Dr. Alexopoulos is a hepatobiliary and abdominal organ transplant surgeon. He has an expertise in complex liver and bile duct surgery including liver transplantation in both adults and children. He is also an experience living donor liver surgeon.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Alexopoulos' research is focused on advanced technologies and methods for the preservation, rehabilitation, and modification of livers for transplantation. He also performs outcomes research in both adult and pediatric liver transplantation.
