We measure a range of performance factors to determine your fitness level. This lets us fine-tune your training to help you meet your performance goals and prevent injury.
We start by scanning your body with low-dose X-ray equipment. This helps determine your lean body mass and body fat for baseline data when starting a fitness program or to assess progress with an ongoing workout routine. The scan also detects potential health risks.
Tests like VO2max, ventilatory thresholds and lactate profiles help us measure your overall fitness and endurance. We provide a detailed analysis and consultation with each test.
We analyze your running movements with biomechanical tests. These tests can detect any instability, weakness or asymmetry in your gait. We then create an exercise plan to improve your running and avoid injury.
We offer several tests to identify your risk factors for injury, including lower extremity/ACL injury prevention screening. We also provide individualized training to improve your performance and avoid injury.
Body composition is the combination of bone, fat and muscle in your body. It plays an important role in your health and fitness. Achieving a healthy body composition can improve your sports performance.
Your lean body mass is your total weight minus fat. It measures your bones, muscles, organs and water in your body. Increasing lean body mass improves strength, power, speed and agility.
Excess fat is fat that your body does not need to function. It is also called “nonessential fat.” Reducing your excess fat can improve your balance, coordination and endurance.
